Its not secret brooches are my favorite accessory. With my brooch collection now boasting at over 200, I still find myself being unable to say no and brooches are still my most purchased item for my wardrobe. I love that a brooch can make a whole outfit just come together and it’s the one thing I reach for every morning without fail. The nature of brooches is that many are limited edition we can sometimes miss out, especially with how popular they’re becoming! But its always fun when your favorite brands do recolours of past goodies that may have slipped through our fingers.
Erstwilder, the brand that encompasses most of my wardrobe has just dropped some recolours of some of their Fan Favorites and I just had to share my favorites!
Saskia Squirrel in the original orange was one of my first ever Erstwilder pieces. Sadly though, I found her gorgeous colourings meant I didn’t reach for her all that often and ended up parting ways with her. I’m loving Saskia’s makeover of a darker marble colour. This piece will fit beautifully into my more 1940s inclined wardrobe and her slightly smaller size than the original will give her a better sit when worn! This little lady is probably my absolute favorite of the recent recolours!
Ula Unicorn holds a special place in my heart. With the recent ‘YES” vote to the same sex marriage mail vote, Ula’s rainbow unicorn horn is a little something special for a fight for equality. I cannot wait to rock my Ula with pride and lets be perfectly honest, who doesn’t love a rainbow horned unicorn to begin with!?
Now believe it or not, I’m actually not really one for dog brooches. I think I only have 2 from memory. They don’t feature high in my lust list for brooches. But with the super sassy coloring’s of Madame Amore, I knew she was one that would make me sway. Plus she’s got hot pink on her! Who could argue with that!
This latest release from Erstwilder which features these goodies and other recolours is now available in their store! Erstwilder brooches are $39.95AU + postage and are made of layered resin for a three dimensional look!
Also don’t forget the stockists too! I’ve listed some of my favorite Australian EW stockists for you all too!
Til next time darlings!
