Happy New Year! Starting 2018 with a review of one of my favorite dress brands that have just released their resort range and I wanted to share my favorite dress from this release!
Now Karina dresses is a brand I feature a lot on my blog and its simply because I love their stuff. Their dresses are comfortable, no fuss and pretty. They’re great all year round (I wear them with foundations and a slip in winter!) and in summer I find myself reaching for a Karina dress more than any other kind in my wardrobe due to their lightweight make and comfort. No one wants to be uncomfortable when its hot and their newest Resort release has not disappointed on balancing comfort with style.
Flowers ~ Tropical limited piece from Daisy Jean Designs
Earrings ~ Tiki fan in dark brown from Doll Me up Inc
Necklace ~ Pink beads from Debstar Designs
Dress ~ Tara dress in Navy Tropical Palm Print
Shoes ~ Liberty Heels in Magenta from B.A.I.T Footwear
I was drawn to the Tara dress in Navy Tropical Palm print for a few reasons! The first was the colour. I adore blue, especially Navy and with it currently being the middle of summer here in Australia the palm print spoke to me. It was also my second short sleeve style from Karina Dresses which I thought would be a great addition over the hot months ahead! As usual, Karina dresses did not disappoint.
For those who aren’t familiar with Karina dresses, they’re a USA based brand that have a set number of styles in their store that they release in new prints and colours. Karina dresses are made in the USA from a microfibre fabric that is machine washable (winning) but also wrinkle free, because honestly I know how much I hate steaming my dresses. A great dress for not just casual looks but also more dresses up events, Karina dresses are comfortable, versatile and fun. They also make an amazing travel dress as well as being great for expecting ladies and mum’s alike!
The Tara dress features a sweetheart bodice for a feminie figure, thick straps which is great for gals with bigger busts as it’ll completely cover your bra straps and I just adore the below the knee length. The stretch also makes them great for ladies whose weight fluctuates a lot who can’t deal with restricting clothing. During my time off work I practically lived in this dress! It saw me through some pretty horribly hot days and allowed me to still look nice while staying comfortable. I’m so excited to be able to keep wearing this gorgeous dress publicly now this amazing collection has dropped. For reference I wear a M/L comfortably.
Karina dresses are also a steal for just $108US/$136AUD + postage. And Karina dresses last! I’m still wearing dresses from them that I got in 2015 without any problems! And they ship worldwide!
I hope you enjoyed this review and I’m so excited to be back blogging again!
More to come darlings!
