Pink Dream with Miss Fortune UK

Winter is finally here down under and that means its time to get back to breaking out my beloved knits and my winter woolies! Thankfully winter in Sydney Australia can get cold but not absolutely freezing, which means I can keep my outfits cute without having to pack on too many layers. One of my favorite winter items from last year, which I definitely adore this year too are the Miss Fortune UK sweaters! With 2 already in my wardrobe, these thick knits are great for days where you want to be warm but not fully covered! She recently bought out some new designs and I just had to share the Penelope Jumper with Atomic Stars in Strawberry with you all!

Skirt ~ Circle Skirt in Hot Pink Satin by Vixen by Micheline from Natasha Marie Clothing

Shoes ~ Platform heels from BAIT footwear

The Penelope is my third sweater top from Miss Fortune Uk and it did not disappoint! Penelope with Atomic stars are one of the newest styles Laura has bought to her store, which is wonderful for us Southern Hemisphere girls as its definitely on the chilly side for us. This simple design is so versatile for with what you can match it with and if pink isn’t your thing, its also available in bubblegum, lemon and mint colourways as well!

Miss Fortune UK sweaters are made out of the softest acrylic, these sweater tops aren’t scratchy or uncomfortable on. I wear mine with just my foundations underneath and its a dream. I find this sweater has some slight puffing to the top of the sleeves more than my others, which on my narrow shoulders helps give the illusion of more of a 40s shape without shoulder pads! The soft pink colour also lends itself to much of my wardrobe, which I adore as pastels are something I love wearing now days as a blonde.

I find myself reaching for these sweaters so much in winter due to their high neckline and short sleeves. With a lot of the places I go out to in winter being heated, this stop allows me to be warm when I’m outside with minimal layering but with short sleeves its manageable inside as well. For an extra bit of warmth, I pop a singlet on underneath! For size reference, I’m wearing the L. The Penelope has a generous cut so keep that in mind when purchasing!

I hope you’ve all enjoyed this review! The gorgeous Penelope Sweater is £38.49/$69AU + postage which is an absolute steal for such a fabulous product. I got my first one around 2-3 years and its still rocking in amazing condition! They’re definitely worth the investment.

Til next time darlings
