Feeling Fruity in Love Ur Look Clothing

So 2020 has felt like a bit of a nightmare, for all of us I’m sure. With COVID hitting the world earlier this year, lockdowns really hampered my desire for a blog comeback as I couldn’t exactly go out and still take photos. But thankfully, with lockdowns easing here in Sydney Australia (we have been very lucky in terms of COVID) I’m looking forward to getting back to photographing and sharing brands I adore. I figured when not start off with a brand I admire and have been a long time lover of love ur look clothing.

Now I’ve shared Love Ur Look Clothing on the blog before. This amazing brand is run by Ronke, an amazing black woman whose brand makes the most comfortable clothing which as an Aussie is one of my go-to brands in the summer month. Love Ur Look Clothing is based out of the UK and is ethically made in India. Ronke personally goes to India twice a year to source details like buttons from markets and ensuring the working conditions of her wonderful factory staff, which is a move I applaud. Love Ur Look also uses cotton fabrics, which is a must for anyone living in a humid climate as I do in Sydney. These fully lined cotton dresses are a dream on days where it feels too hot to really wear anything that’s not a natural fiber.

My newest Love Ur Look Clothing addition to my wardrobe is this gorgeous Pineapple Punch Print Shirt Dress. Now I’m a big sucker for a shirt dress. It is such a versatile design that can work for casual or formal, day, or nightwear. They’re also great for getting into without ruining your hair and makeup. This gorgeous Love Ur Look Clothing dress features the most adorable fruity print that I know will be perfect come spring (it’s currently winter here in OZ). It features an over the knee design, pockets (that’s right ladies, pockets!) and a concealed zip to help get it on with ease. It also comes with a matching fabric tie belt.

For sizing reference, I’m wearing a size 18 which is my usual size. It is a little firm atm thanks to a little Lockdown gain but that’s already dropping off now I’m back at aerials so by spring it’s going to fit just perfectly.

This gorgeous dress is around $125AU + postage. As someone who has been wearing Love Ur Look Clothing dresses for a number of years now, you definitely get bang for your buck with them as long as you follow the garment care they last really well.

I hope you’ve loved this review and I’m excited to be back blogging again now I can shoot again.

Here’s to more sharing through the later half of 2020.
